e-Triage is an open source web based application providing a secure, flexible and highly scalable environment for our Clients.   The system is hosted by e-Triage at a very secure location with 24x7x365 support.  This allows for a quick effortless implementation with little involvement required by Client’s IT staff.

The program is easily customized to work within each Client’s workflow incorporating the Client business rules into the workflow and interviews.  Knowing that timeliness is critical, the e-Triage web-based application minimizes the effort required by making information instantly available to all interested parties and sharing all information necessary to implement an effective injury management plan.

For example, as soon as an employer provides information about the employee’s actual job requirements, that information can be shared with the provider to facilitate discussions concerning an appropriate return to work.  e-Triage is expanding the RTW functionality to include online access to appropriate transitional work assignments that could instantly be shared with employers and providers.

The e-Triage system has been designed to allow for easy customization and expansion.  Clients can define specific questions, such as compensability determination, making their system implementation unique.  This allows the Client to market their proprietary workflow while differentiating their services from their competition. Modifications include client requested changes (wording, adding/deleting questions, scoring adjustments in response to new research, etc.) as well as regional or cultural adjustments to the questions and scoring rules.

In addition to the current workers compensation application, the e-Triage system can be easily adapted to serve other disabilities (not related to workers compensation) that occur outside the workplace as well as automobile-related accident injuries.  The application can be expanded by adding additional modules into the existing system structure.
